While I wouldn’t call the Vox tone “monster” I would say that playing my new Vox amp (it’s the one in the pic above actually) from MMMworks has given my electric playing a whole new dimension that transistor amps, and I’ve had many over the last 20 years, simply do not offer.
When I pluck the strings lightly on my Eastwood semi-acoustic, I’m rewarded with gorgeous, lush electric tone, and when I dig in on leads or power chords, the tubes offer expression that turns your amp into part of your instrument.
